Meet the Butcher Family

This sweet newborn session holds a special place in my heart. This gorgeous mama is also known as my work wifey, aka Megan. Megan owns Megan Lee Photography and she is such an inspiration to me and has been a light in my life with the wedding industry! I have worked many weddings with her as well as work to help plan photography workshops with her (Evoke Workshops). She will actually be my wedding photographer come May of 2022, Michael and I are so excited! You can find her wedding photography here. Baby Navy

When Megan first told me her and Jake were expecting baby number two I was so excited for them! I was even more elated when Megan asked me to come capture their family. As we (im)patiently waited for baby girl’s arrival, we talked about outfit planning as Megan and Jake worked on their home to prepare for photos! Having an in-home session was perfect since sweet baby girl, Navy Rue, was born during the winter. The love and warmth this family has for one another glows as your scroll through these images below. Cannot express how grateful I am to capture photos like these. Now Megan and I are basically trying to find Michael and I a home in the same area. Just so we can be neighbors and forever paparazzi’s to each others growing families.
