I had the opportunity to capture one of my best friend’s weddings AND be one of her bridesmaids!

I knew this post would be a long one, so buckle up!

How am I possibly able to pick a favorite photo when I had the opportunity to capture one of my best friend’s weddings?! I am so excited the share these gorgeous photos from Jessy and Anthony’s wedding day at Crystalline Events.

Jessy, you did an INCREDIBLE job planning your gorgeous wedding and I am absolutely so glad I was able to take on both roles of being your photographer AND one of your bridesmaids. (Of course with help from Michael and Erika so during the ceremony I could stand by your side.)

Jessy and Anthony had both their ceremony and reception at Crystalline Events. This venue is a hidden gem within Fairmont, West Virginia with its stunning, all white interior. The day was filled with emerald green, white and a dark plum color palette. The floral bouquet designs were created by Perennial Floral. The bride had the bridesmaids and groomsmen wear velvet green which added such a lovely texture! And the Bride herself wore a mermaid silhouette gown with lots of lace detail work from Oliverio’s Bridal.

The couple wanted to stay traditional and opted to save their first look until the ceremony. But Jessy did have an incredibly sweet first look with her dad.

I think this black and white photo was my favorite moment to capture of the day.

We stepped outside before the sun set to capture some just married, Bride and Groom Portraits.  You have got to see these veil shots. –

The bride’s sister and father surprised everyone and performed a few special songs for the new Mr. & Mrs.

The night ended with a sparkler exit!

I messaged Jessy the day after and asked how it felt to be Mrs. Trupo now. We reminisced on her day and what she wrote to me was so sweet I had to share;

“When I first walked in with my dad, I tried not to look until my train was fixed but I looked up and saw Anthony crying and saw him grab his face and then he waved at me and smiled… It was the most magical moment of my life. We’ve had a lot of special moments, being so far a part from each other at times and having so many reunions but that moment seeing him at the alter was just like nothing before. I will always remember and treasure that moment.”

It was such an honor to capture this special day and I’m so grateful I was able to stand by Jessy’s side during the ceremony because it allowed me to have the best view seeing Anthony’s reaction to Jessy walking down the aisle..seriously the sweetest moment and I’m glad I was able to soak it all in.
