MEET Andrea

Throwback to this November 2019 Wedding

These two were featured in West Virginia Wedding Magazine. In honor of their feature, I wanted to take a trip down memory lane! Truly so happy and honored to be in the magazine I use to build my wedding dreams from- now I’m a photographer in the wedding world and I couldn’t be more thankful for all those who love my work and support me endlessly!

This wedding was a little extra special due to the fact, the groom is my cousin! Everyone had a great time dancing the night away, eating all the cookies from the cookie table, and I absolutely had fun capturing all the moments in between!

A Glimpse into the Day

With the help from their families the couple planned a wedding for 212 guests in 12 weeks. They were married over Thanksgiving weekend at Rivesville United Methodist Church where the bride’s parents had been married. The couple exchanged traditional vows and lit a candle as a symbol of their commitment to one another. The reception took place at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place, where the newlyweds entertained guests.

In addition to a cookie table featuring more than 100 types of cookies, guests enjoyed a two-tier chocolate cake with buttercream icing made by the bride’s sister-in-law and sister-in-law‘s mother.

Winter Weddings have to be aware of the sunset time!  A big piece of advice to all brides; it’s crucial to be aware of when the sunsets on your wedding day. For winter weddings on the East Coast, we loose light faster. We were able to capture all the detail photos, getting ready, first look, and bridal party photos in great, natural lighting all because Brooke and Michael trusted me from the very beginning when we were planning their wedding timeline together!

I am in love with this ring shot!

And a major reason why is I find it so incredibly romantic! Yes, I called a ring shot romantic, but stay with me. This ring box was actually hand crafted by the groom to surprise his wife! Now don’t you agree that this sentimental gift has romance written all over it?
