Alli and Steven’s lakeside maternity session at Cheat Lake Park was such a joy to shoot. This sunset session included so many stunning backdrops to choose from. I love everything about this evening session from the soft sunset colors to the couple’s happy smiles to the sweet geese family that swam by. Not to mention the willow tree and I are basically best friends now since it has been the perfect backdrop for the past two sessions of mine.

Maternity Session at Cheat Lake Park

Cheat Lake Park is a gorgeous park here in Morgantown, West Virginia. There are gorgeous walking trails and lots of shorelines for lakeside pictures. I love this spot for both maternity and engagement sessions since there is lots of versatility with backgrounds. This gives couples plenty of options to choose from and plenty of space to have fun and be creative during these shoots!

Alli and Steven are so excited to take on their new roles as parents, and now it’s just a waiting game. They are patiently (impatiently) waiting on their baby girl’s arrival! I cannot wait for their bundle of joy to make her appearance into the world so that we can capture their new family all together for their newborn/lifestyle photo session!  These two are going to be amazing parents, and I cannot wait for them to take on their new roles soon!
