I am so honored to share Rachel and Daniel’s wedding with you! This entire family is so dear to my heart. They have always shown me constant support for my photography since the dawn of time! Not only did I get to shoot Rachel’s wedding this September, but last year I got to photograph her sister Emily’s wedding! Emily and Michael got married at Bethany College in 2019, and it was so gorgeous. I absolutely love being able to photograph families, from engagement sessions to weddings, to newborn sessions! Bonus; This family is so much fun to be around. Seriously, we laughed the majority of the day from telling stories, to simply enjoying the day.

Rachel and Daniel got married at the Blennerhassett Hotel, a stunning European inspired hotel in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The couple wanted a classic wedding, with lots of elegance, and the Blennerhasset Hotel was a perfect choice. They chose a color palette of black, white, and red, which is so classic.

The bridesmaids wore black gowns and the groomsmen black tuxedos. Rachel wore a stunning mermaid gown by Pronovias, which was covered in lace and sparkle. I made sure to get a shot of Rachel with her mom and grandma and their rings. This is always a favorite shot of mine since it shows the many generations of love and family!

Not only did Rachel do a first look with Daniel, but also her dad! There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Rachel’s dad saw her for the first time. Such a sweet moment!

Wedding at the Blennerhassett Hotel

Their ceremony took place outdoors at the Hotel’s patio, which is fully tented and features nickel chandeliers for a touch of European flair. The ceremony arch was designed by Crown Florals, and featured large white and green flowers. It was the most beautiful backdrop for these two to say I Do!

Their reception took place in the ballroom, where guests were greeted to lots of red and gold. The family had so much fun all night long! But the best part of the night? Rachel and her dad’s first dance! They had a choreographed dance that got everyone on their feet. Thank you so much, Rachel and Daniel, for letting me be part of your day!
