Jessica and Anthony started dating back in high school, and they have worked together to create the relationship they have today. It hasn’t always been easy though. They dealt with long-distance while Anthony was in the Marine Corps, and of course, other struggles have come up along the way. But these two have always been patient and are always finding ways to show their love to each other. They have known for quite some time that they would eventually be husband and wife. In fact, when Anthony asked for Jessy’s father’s blessing, the words “this has been long overdue” came up. For me, it was such a joy to be a part of their Bridgeport engagement session.
A Long History
For those of you who don’t know, Jessy is one of my closest friends. We have been by each other’s side since fifth grade! We’ve been through so much together, and we always have these long, deep talks about everything under the sun. I’m grateful for her constant love and support. I’ve known this couple for so long that I can remember the days of attending lacrosse games with Jessy to cheer on Anthony and the team. It was always wonderful to see Anthony there to hug her after a great win!
Valley Falls State Park Engagement Session
For my engagement shoots, I love to focus on the couple having fun and being themselves! From Anthony making silly faces at Jessica to get her to giggle to the two snuggling up, it was so much fun to capture. They decided on Valley Falls State Park for their engagement session because this is actually the place Anthony proposed! I loved the sentimental value and gorgeous backdrops this location had to offer!
We truly captured the romantic love story these two have! They’ve always supported one another, and they constantly find peace in those simple moments. Their love really shines through in the photos!
Jessy and Anthony are getting married on December 19th, and I am so excited! Congratulations you two!
