Jessica and Nick wanted a super chill downtown Pittsburg engagement session embracing the city’s everyday life and beautiful views – and they nailed it! It was as if we were strolling the parks and city streets on a typical Sunday before going to a tailgate for the Steelers. (Which they got to do after the session!) I love to see what style my couples pick for their engagement sessions. Some like to dress up and go on a formal date night, while others want to keep it relaxed. No matter what they pick, I love to be there to capture it.
We had so much fun during this shoot, and we even got to hop on the incline for some cute photos! This is one of the coolest ways to see downtown Pittsburg! You get a total panorama view of the city, the three rivers, and the gorgeous parks. We started their session in Point State Park, which is in Downtown Pittsburg. Located at the center of the three rivers, it is one of my favorite spots. It has some of the best views of the city!
As a couple, Jessica and Nick’s perfect date is a night at the drive-in. They always bring takeout and a bottle of wine. Fall is their favorite time of year and perfect drive-in weather! Nothing better than a scary movie and the drive-in!
Fall Downtown Pittsburg Engagement Session
Fall also happens to be one of my favorite times of the year to do engagement sessions. You get to snuggle up in comfy sweaters, without being too cold. And the incredible colors always make for the perfect backdrops. Pittsburg was in full color, with so many shades of red and gold. Their wedding next year lands on Halloween weekend which I later found out Nick is a BIG fan of going all out with his costumes, (face painting and all). Can’t wait to celebrate with you two and your guests next year!!
